Librarians instruct users in the access, evaluation and ethical use of information sources. They also work closely with faculty to plan the development of resources, information literacy instruction and research assistance that support self-initiation of lifelong-learning and fulfillment.
The Franco Library collections include nearly 75,000 physical items consisting of books, periodicals, DVDs and other items. Additionally, the library's rich digital collection includes electronic journals, eBooks, educational videos, news resources, tutorials and over 125 research guides. The library offers a variety of technology-enhanced study spaces including group study rooms, quiet study spaces and collaborative work areas.
Professional librarians are available to guide students in finding, evaluating, citing, and using information ethically and legally. Students may reach a librarian for assistance via chat, telephone, email, or in person. Librarians offer extended one-on-one consultations both virtually and in person.
